Memories"Our first trip to the Golden Lion.... Carrie had only been in Flagler for a few weeks and I was just stopping through for the weekend.... so after boogie boarding all day at Flagler Beach (because that is the only beach that we really knew of) We are starving and thirsty... we stumble up to the road and we are right in front of the Golden Lion. Our plan was to eat lunch and go back to Carrie's parent's house. We sit down eat lunch chat with the bartender.. pay our tab... watch them change bartenders or something like that... meet the new bartender...his name was tikitender... have a few more drinks... pay our tab again... chat with tikitender some more... end up ordering dinner and a few more drinks... hang out, enjoying life and chatting with Tikitender...we wanted a picture but didn't have our camera so Mark took our picture using our cell phone... so what was intended to be a short lunch ended up being from about 2pm to closing... we paid our tab 3 times during that quick lunch visit and proclaimed The Golden Lion and Flagler Beach to be our place... now anytime one of our family members eats there, they always send us a picturemail or text message... I came back to visit Carrie and the Golden Lion as much as I could until February when I just moved down here for good..." -Steve, Palm Coast "I miss you guys and the Golden Lion.
